Used coffee grounds that go to landfill produce methane, a greenhouse gas up to 80 times more harmful than CO2. For that reason, we've committed to supporting coffee grounds recycling by partnering with Recorra to facilitate the collection of your coffee waste and its delivery to a specialist facility. There, it is processed to create a range of sustainable products in the circular economy such as biofuels, organic fertiliser and bioplastics.
While other coffees come in non-recyclable packaging that goes straight into general waste after use, our bags are made from fully recyclable polypropylene. This makes them a much more sustainable and environmentally friendly choice.
Both coffee waste and packaging collection are available within our machine management services when you purchase Thoughtful Coffee.
Order your coffee >Since being established in 2016, Nu Vending has become a leading provider of automatic barista coffee machines and a trusted wholesale coffee supplier for businesses in and around London and the Home Counties. In that time, we've learnt a lot about what makes a great coffee – and we're excited to now bring that experience into our own brand of premium, ethical coffee.
Do you want to know more about Thoughtful Coffee and what makes Nu Vending a wholesale coffee company determined to make a difference? Get in touch with us and we'll be happy to answer any questions you have.
